Ready to "jump gate" on over to the alternate reality of purple/pink combinations and the myriad of tentacles, ancient gods, magicks, and zombies? I must point out yet again some of the synchs form the first post coming from the huge "stars" or Hollywood "gods" if you will that do the voice overs for their 'alters'.
As I discovered in the first post, Oded Fehr represented Dr. Fate, another "Magi" representation for him synching with The Mummy sequels. Dr. Fate, as fate would have it, wears the magic helmet of Nabu. Again, another synchromystic link, Nabu also said "Naboo" for our Star Wars fans out there. Nabu according to Wiki is the Babylonian God of Wisdom and Writing, and is also connected with the planet Mercury. I wonder if this is why The Flash is not present in this episode, Dr. Fate already representing indirectly Mercury here for us. So Dr. Fate wears the fabled helmet of Nabu/Apollo/Hermes/Mercury yet his name, Fate, also represents "The Moirae or Moerae (in Greek Μοῖραι – the "apportioners", often called the The Fates)". Of course, our other Naboo in the Star Wars alternate Universe, is a mostly green planet home of Gungans that just happen to live in "underwater cities" (*cough cough* mumbles something about Atlantis and Aquaman and synchromysticism).*** Honorable Mention: If you have never checked out the Wookieepedia, you have to look at the incredible amount of detailed work that is there representing the Star Wars Universe. ***
I have to say this too, if manipulation of consciousness is how things are created in a hurry, then the Star Wars Universe must by definition exist somewhere in Time. Just amazing.
Speaking of Star Wars, we synch up with Mark Hamill now, who does the voice of Solomon Grundy, but is our Star Wars Universe representative a.k.a Luke Skywalker. Oh the synchs the synchs! I certainly hope that Solomon Grundy does not represent Mark's career path, not much transpired after Star Wars did it? Hence the comic/cartoon voice overs I guess. At least we have double bind representation or maybe Double Magick reps of George Lucas' Universe in itself.
Solomon Grundy is our seemingly synchro-popular character, and we are shown how he is a "soulless Zombie". Alternative Rock Star "Rob Zombie" appears within the episode as the voice over of Ichthultu, another "zombie" double bind/double magick/dual alter representative. Certainly, I am in hopes that his playing the voice of this character doesn't mean he has an alter of Cthulhu! Scary thought I know!
We left off with Ichthultu beginning his invasion into the J.L.'s Universe via a rip in the dimensional fabric of reality.
Dr. Fate attempts to use his own magicks to ward off the other worldly presence...
Bam! Fate hits Ichthulta square between the eyes. However, the "green fire" is returned in kind...Now I was fascinated with the representation of the green fire, because I've seen it used as a mystical energy force from different characters.- Fire is a D.C. comics heroine who first appeared in Super Friends #25 (Oct. 1979), then made another appearance in 1986 in Infinity, Inc. #32.
Green Fury became a member of the Global Guardians when Superman, recruited by Doctor Mist, asks for assistance in locating one of many ancient artifacts being pursued by a powerful group of evil mystics. They battle a wizard called 'El Dorado' in an ancient, overgrown city deep in the jungle. The two face off against 'spirit jaguars' and seemingly lose the artifact, a crown, to the wizard. Da Costa then assists Superman and other Guardians in battling the wizards El Dorado included, on Easter Island. The heroes catch a break when it's learned Superman had faked the artifacts with super-speed. This prevents the rise to power of the entity the wizards followed, Thaumar Dhai. Though not as powerful as planned, Dhai was still a threat. Green Fury's mystical based powers were essential in destroying him.
- After the Crisis on Infinite Earths, her history was altered so that she had followed an unusual career path. Renamed Beatriz Bonilla da Costa, she started as an amateur model on the beaches of Rio, then becoming a showgirl and stage performer before finding herself serving as a top secret agent for Brazilian government's Espiões Nacionais. In the course of one of her missions, Beatriz was trapped in a pyroplasmic explosion that endowed her with the unusual power of being able to exhale an eight-inch burst of fire. She assumed the identity of the Green Fury then soon changed it again to Green Flame. She joined the international superhero team the Global Guardians, of which she was a long-standing, loyal member. (Secret Origins #33).
The term Green Fire also turned up another amazing synch wink per Amazon.com:
And one more synch with Wise Woman before I go, she recently did a post pertaining to the number 52, in Groundhog Week, and here we find the character Green Fire once again at Wiki:
After the great "Infinite Crisis," she is seen at the memorial/counting of survivors in 52 #1, where she enjoys a long hug with her old friend Martian Manhunter.
She appears later, criticizing Booster for his shameless self-promotion while the search continues for the missing superheroes. (52 #4) She is also on hand at a memorial for Ralph Dibny's wife, Sue. (52 #42)
Another Google search came up with this gem, which I automatically remembered the nice Hurricane/Cyclone/Tornado style symbol I had seen earlier at Aferrismoon's recent post called PAN-NOX Attacks While Dorothy Slips Out Of Her Pysche Loan.
O.K. your stammering--get on with the damn posts will ya! Shhh, you'll wake up the Grunka-Lunkas.

This was an interesting spot...Fate suddenly in between frames became a black skeleton, may I ask WTF?
Hawkgirl/Isis/Ma'at sees that Fate is having trouble against the "green fire". Her weapon, the magic mace, disrupts magick, so she ambiguously places her mace in a "particular spot" drawing the eyes "downward"... I hope I don't have to spell it out for anyone. She begins to chant the "same" chant as Fate, in unison, while he casts his counter-spell.
They "clutch the shaft" together....ahh Fate, why not right? It's there...
Ouch! All I can think of now is electro shock pain, don't even go there MK fans, too painful!
Finally, with the combination of Hawkgirl/Isis'/Ma'at's mace and Fates magicks they are able to push the green fire aside and disrupt Ichthultu's entrance.
The "magickal web" engulfs invading baddie and off he goes back to where he came from...
Some interesting symbolisms, swirly magicks/gates/ and 8-sided solar symbols maybe?
Fate asks Hawkgirl/Isis/Ma'at how she could possibly know that incantation. She replies that where she comes from, it's the closest thing they have to a prayer. Interesting.
Mr. Ruler of Atlantis asks if it's over. Fate says by no means, that they need to continue the spell. Superman and Wonder Woman ask what the heck is going on, Aquaman states there is no time to explain. Wonder Woman, (I love this part)--says "make time, or are you scared because there is now water in here." *Insert smile of adoration for Wonder Woman/Diana*
Hawkgirl/Isis/Ma'at asks begrudgingly "we're not going to fight again are we?" Fate bluntly says "NO" and that he will explain what they wish to know...After his swirl-purple magick unfolds, we see a long forgotten Atlantis of the past..reflecting and twinkling in Gold. Grundy sees this and smiles and says "pretty".
Aquaman/Poseidon chimes in explaining that this is Atlantis thousands of years before it sank beneath the waves...
That it was once ruled by "sorcerer Kings"...Fate states fortunately so, because they were attacked by inter-dimensional beings...
...inter-dimensional beings called "The Old Ones"...
Oh please tell me thats a "magic mushroom" representation he is breaking and not the phallus...ouch again if so! Fate states that the Old Ones almost destroyed Humanity as they paved the way for the most powerful of their number...
King Poseidon gathered all the ambient mystical energy on Earth, gambling that he could stop the intruders...
Gathering all these energies into the mystical Trident...3 into 1...Fortunately, it worked and he was able to banish the Old Ones from their Realm...
At a high price though...the magicks he used were also part of the spells that kept Atlantis from sinking beneath the oceans...Aquaman states "he saved the world, but doomed Atlantis to rest forever at the bottom of the sea..."
...Swirly-gate style exit from the telling of the tale of Atlantis, or MK symbolic Cyclone/Spin trigger...
Aquaman reminds them that they were casting a spell to prevent Ichthultu from arriving before they "interupted"...
Wonder Woman/Diana (our Amazonian Moon Goddess) exclaims "I won't let you torture Grundy again". At least we see one of the "gods" standing up for the knuckle dragging soulless commoner.
Hawkgirl/Isis/Ma'at explains that it's not torture...more like sacrifice. SCRREEECH! Brakes applied, "Hold on here"... Did someone say sacrifice? What KIND of sacrifice are we talking here?
Here's how the actual conversation went:Hawkgirl: Its not exactly torture Diana, more like sacrifice.
Superman: How do you know so much about this?
Hawkgirl: My people once worshiped Ichthultu.
Superman: On Thanagar?
Fate: The Old Ones are an evil not bound by your understanding of geography.
Hawkgirl: In return for his favors, my ancestors made offerings to him.
Aquaman: I can't believe anyone would cooperate with that thing.
Hawkgirl: It was thousands of years ago. We were still a primitive culture.
Fate: With your knowledge perhaps you can help with the ceremony.
Superman: Forget the ceremony, we're not sacrificing Grundy or anybody else.
Aquaman: Grundy volunteered.
Superman: I'm not sure he's competent to volunteer. Does he even understand what your asking of him?
Grundy: Grundy understands, Grundy helps magician, then magician will help Grundy.
Wonder Woman: I agree with Superman, there has to be another way.
Hawkgirl: There is, we go to Ichthultu's world and kick his slimy..
Grundy: Bird-nose is right. Fight not hide!
Aquaman: No we should stick to our original plan.
Fate: This may be better. It's more likely to work than simply recasting a broken spell.
Aquaman: It's a fools errand! I joined with you to protect Atlantis.
Fate: And the rest of the world be hanged? We need your power.
Aquaman: So do my people, my place is with them.
Now we can 'read between the lines' or interpret it however you like. If we look at Hawkgirl as Isis, she is admitting they worshiped Ichthultu (Cthulhu)? Odd. I don't seem to recollect that in Egyptian history, did I miss something? Did they leave out a chapter? And what's this she is speaking of, Grundy (representing the dumbed down knuckle draggers of society) is supposed to be the sacrifice for this ritual? Does this sound familiar? The so called "gods" of society deciding which commoners to sacrifice for ritualistic purposes? All too familiar if you ask me. At least Orion (Superman) and Wonder Woman (Diana) stood up for the "commoner" Grundy. Or is that what they want us to think, that these "gods" stand up for Humanity? Hence the rub I guess.
Solomon Grundy this whole time, dumbed down as he is, doesn't truly understand what's going on, not to mention the fact they "left him out of the conversation entirely". The gods again deciding the fate of the commoners without consulting or including. Grundy thinks its about getting his soul back, when Aquaman only cares about saving Atlantis, and Fate's concern is keeping Ichthultu from invading their Universe.
Aquaman: I have spoken. So it seems the "ruler of Atlantis" only cares for Atlantis, big surprise. So he takes his little trident and leaves for home...
Fate takes the group into Ichthultu's realm, where ground and sky are not parallel...
They run into strange creatures with mouths on their hands that screech and wail like Banshees! We've seen similar symbolisms on hands, but hands with eyes...
From the movie "Pan's Labyrinth", The Stygian Port has an amazing synchromystic post about this, I highly recommend the read!
Grundy begins to fall, but Hawkgirl/Isis is there to "save him"...Grundy says "Bird nose helps Grundy...but Bird nose and her friends hate Grundy." Hawkgirl/Isis responds "Grundy helped bird nose, bird nose helped Grundy o.k.?" I guess they take pity upon the slaves when they feel it necessary, possibly when it's to their advantage who knows.
Horrid creatures invade the oceans near Atlantis via a portal tear from Ichthultu's realm...it's interesting how they have the portal "in water" and it seems that coincides with many posts amongst the blog-sphere as utilizing water as a "portal or star gate" of sorts. Water being the "universal conduit" I am guessing? Whatever the case may be, the creatures are hideous and Aquaman/Poseidon is soon to have his hands full.
Hawgirl: Let me ask you something. Do you really gain strength when you call on your gods?Wonder Woman: Of course I do, my beliefs sustain me.
Hawkgirl: That must be comforting.
Wonder Woman: There are times when Faith is all we have to rely upon. I don't know how you can bare the weight all alone.
Nothing like light casual conversation. Seems Hawkgirl doesn't believe in anything, is there truly anything wrong with that? Are we witnessing a little subliminal here? Don't get me wrong, if people really need religion to believe in and it works for them, I say go for it. But what's wrong with having a little faith in oneself? No-thing wrong with that is there? I believe in myself, and I have faith in my family and friends...works for me. I don't call upon any gods for strength, because I am an abundance of my own. Oh well, it's alright, I still like Wonder Woman anyways.
*laughs*
On a fun little side observation, Wonder Woman at 11:33 into the episode calls out "Great Hera!" Just a little numerological. (We can look at it a few different ways either as 11/33 or Master Number 11 synching up with the famous Masonic 33, or 11+33=44 further 4+4=8, or 11x33=363 or 36+3=39 which simpler is 3+9=12 or a big ole' 3. Whichever works for your current reality). Currently, I think our numbers have been utilized against us and need to be taken back so to speak due to the fact that they are important symbols in themselves. See my Numerology 101 post. Numbers should be positive and create positive energy, not be turned around against us in negative ways.
They witness the distorted evil creatures heading out of the realm via the portal...It's decided that Superman and Wonder Woman will go slow them down while Fate, Hawkgirl, and Grundy hunt for Ichthultu.
Fate conjures up a "yellow brick road" in the form of a "path of golden light"...
It heads straight to the portal that leads "to another dimension" or rather the J.L's dimension...
Fate then says to Wonder Woman and Superman "Stay on the path." Some interesting Oz style symbolisms, maybe signifying Oz programming? Perhaps. Not here to try to implant ideas into your mind, just pointing out what I see. You be the judge and decide what it means for you.
Aquaman/Poseidon uses his telepathy to call for help via the creatures of the sea....
I almost felt sorry for him..but he is the arrogant 'ruler of Atlantis', well..you know....
Too much fun to pass up..the synchromystic "horns" behind his head...
Which turn into a "heart shaped" hilarious synch wink back to The Celtic Rebel...I know Celt loves a "good" heart symbol when he sees it! *grins* Checkout his blog spot for some awesome but frank looks at the socially engineered society we're wandering through!
So now we have the trio/triad/trinity of the Grundy (Soulless zombie), Fate (referred to as the Magician by Grundy with the powers of Nabu), and Hawkgirl (representing I believe Isis) all in search of Ichthultu (Cthulhu) now....
Wouldn't you know it, Ichthultu's realm is teaming with tentacles...wonder why we don't see Disney "tweens" all over the place wrapped up in them...OHHHH bad joke, sorry folks, that one was just there...Sometimes, Reality does bite, and bites hard. Fate tells the others to be on their guard. Then we hear Ichthultu say "speak not until spoken too, dust mote". Hawkgirls says "o.k that was just rude"...
Ichtultu asks "winged mote, who are you?" Hawkgirl announces her name and Ichthultu replies "you have the stench of the Thanagarians upon you." Hawkgirl retorts "says the giant squid!"Ichthultu responds "definitely Thanagarian...
and that "I will speak to the Hawkgirl before I destroy her..you others hold no interest", which is aimed at Grundy and Fate. Eye-stalks, single eye symbolisms, or is that the "slit" at the end of the...AHEM. Moving along!
More tentacle symbolisms...
...Hawkgirl/Isis "strung up by tentacles" before Ichthultu...
...sort of resembled a "solar ray" type glint over the eye....
Aquaman shows up coming through the portal, sending the evil creatures into a "retreat" and says he can seal the breach with something large and the Trident..Superman and Wonder Woman oblige by pushing a huge piece of floating matter into it and the Trident seals the deal...Kind of looks like a solar symbol to me, but as I have mentioned before, we see very much Solar/Serpent Cult symoblisms in comic books/cartoons...so this is no surprise.
Just one of those inter-dimensional demonic looking baddies...
Grundy overhears Ichthultu/Hawkgirl's conversation which was very interesting in itself:
Ichthultu: Speak to me child of Thanagar.
Hawkgirl: I've nothing to say. I have a gesture for you but my hands are tied.
Ichthultu: How I missed your people's spirit.
Hawkgirl: We don't miss you. We outgrew you...thousands of years ago.
Ichthultu: I gave your people everything..why did you forsake me?
Hawkgirl: Forsake? We threw you out! The price for your favors was too high.
Ichthultu: My tribute was equitable. I earned your faith.
Hawkgirl: Really? What's a fair price for the souls of my ancestors?
Let's now surmise that indeed Hawkgirl represents Isis or Ma'at from Ancient Egypt, is she telling us that Ichthultu (Cthulhu) representing the "Serpent Cult" once was worshiped by her people? Or perhaps they are speaking in "religious" metaphors or rhetoric? You make the call on this one, it's open to interpretation thats' for sure.
We see Grundy "tear in half" one of the monsters...on a child's psyche though, monster or not, it's still the "act" thats traumatizing. Grundy hears the end of the conversation and says "Snake face steals souls? Give Grundy back his soul snake face or Grundy crush!" Grundy gets very angry and heads right for Ichthultu, and lands on it's head, bashing and ripping open it's head and plunges down into it's "brain"...
Grundy starts to "tear apart the brain" searching for his soul...Symbolic perhaps? The "dumbed down knuckle dragging commoner" wreaks havoc upon "the brain" in search of "the soul"? Perhaps. Maybe this represents a night of binge drinking or a drug addiction too. Perhaps it represents the "inner journey" into the mind by the commoners in search of that lost soul..to confront those "demons within" either way, it's very symbolic!
Grundy finally comes face to face with a giant "Aliens" type looking creature...
The "monster within" is confronted by Grundy..

Grundy eventually defeats the "multi layered" beast, the physical representation of it, and the monster collapses upon him. Grundy lays still saying "he cannot move".
He asks "Bird nose get Grundy's soul for him?" Hawkgirl states "rest, I will finish what you started..."
Ichthultu responds "You will not do this thing Shayira Hol of Thanagar, Ichthultu still has faith in you." Hawkgirl replies sternly "So Do I" before bringing her magic mace down upon it for the crushing final blow. It was good to hear this declared, because having faith in one's self is very important, and I do not see any problem with this at all.
Hawkgirl/Isis sends Ichthultu packing...
Grundy tells Hawkgirl, "Grundy thinks he is going away now."Hawkgirl: No, just hang on.
Grundy: Do you think Grundy's soul is waiting for him?
Hawgirl stammers: Grundy I don't beli...(stops herself)...
Hawkgirl finishes her sentence "...Yes! It's waiting for you."
Grundy responds to her "Then Grundy get's his reward." And passes on to the next realm. Aferrismoon pointed out in the last post on this episode, that Grundy died on a Saturday (which is when the episode would have aired, Saturday Morning cartoon slot.). An interesting take on a cartoon, a soulless zombie earning his "soul back", I mean, the storyline is meant to be interpreted 'simply' as "zombie helps good guys, earns his soul, gets to have peace", thats what those who aren't symbolically literate will say, sure that's the 'surface story'...but the underlying story is more important.
I know our Justice League Heroes are supposed to represent "goodness and justice" and are the "good guys", but those of us here in the blogo-sphere know of the "power of Myth belief" and the usage of subversive symbolisms to mesmerize the mind, keep the masses disempowered and under a hypnotic spell, and how they can be utilized to harness and steal energies. So how can we go and look at this so called 'simple cartoon' that is laced with mythical, esoteric themes of ancient times without pointing a few fingers and saying "ahhh ha thought you could get this by us huh?" Let alone, say "WTF are you doing to the kids minds!!!" Again, don't take my word for it, the rabbit holes and inter-dimensional staircases are just leading to odd places that one would not expect to find themes such as these.
We are treated at the end to a 'gathering' much like a "funeral", and hey, what's up with the word "fun" being in there? Hawkgirl says she "tried to do this according to human customs".Wonder Woman: You honor his memory.
Hawkgirl: He was happy at the end. I still don't understand why.
Aquaman: It's faith Hawkgirl. Your not supposed to understand it, you just have it.That has to be the smartest thing I ever heard come out of that guy's mouth. Most of the time, his arrogance gets under my skin, but to me, having faith in family, friends, and Humanity is probably the best we can do for now.
And we see here the closing scene...syching nicely with Wise Woman's post Solomon Grundy. The synchs have been like this lately~~ weird and wonderful at the same time! Sometimes frustrating, sometimes eye opening, but always enjoyable.
As we have seen here in prior posts, this J.L.A. cartoon is ladened with some heavy duty themes and story lines...and of course, our gratuitous subliminals. Why oh why do we have it coming from every direction? Someone told me "we must be truly marvelous people for them to have such agenda's to dumb us down". I simply agree with that statement. There are indeed multiple complex agendas in play here, of course, those that are behind it have had thousands of years to continue this. They understand how it works, why it works, and will pull out all the stops to keep their control in place. They have access to all resources--money, science, math, religion, they control it all. When will we be able to take hold of this concept as a species and realize Humanity is under siege? How are we going to take back our energies and turn them around into positive change and progression? If we really want to progress or experience another change for the better, either in consciousness or evolution, we have to bring awareness up to it's highest state. This spell must be broken. The "hive mind" or World Wide Web, or whichever you like to call it, has enough information out there to show the facts and the factors. Those that are outside of the civilized world--i.e. tribes, untouched areas, etc.--are probably safe and more connected to intuition than we can hope to be. I speak from the "Lion's Den" so to speak--since America and the U.K. are considered to be the major testing grounds for these agendas, so if one can awaken from the spell from within the Lion's Den, then we know there is hope for humanity's sake and we can take the destiny of the Earth back. We've reached the monumental time in our lifetimes here on Earth, that we realize we can make our planet into a venerable Paradise...maybe we'll get an energetic boost via some Galactic energy of 2012 to make this change, who knows, but anything and everything is possible!
Be well all!

Great work man, i love the saturnday synchs, these JLA episodes are fruitful. Ive just finished Grant Morrisons Arkham Asylum, it was great and synched up well with the movie just coming out. Didnt Grant Morrison do some JLA stuff? Keep up the great work, be well skaggz
The mystery of the Green Flame.
http://mercurysgarden.blogspot.com/2008/07/its-cold-djinn-time-again.html
It's kind of spooky we both noticed the green energy and posted on it independently at about the same time.
Nice post on the cartoon, I agree 100% of your breakdown of it.
Fine comment about the drink-bingeing tied to soul searching. Alcohol both disinhibits and dis-coordinates - odd juice
Anyhow shall read it again
Cheers
Michael
I loved this & all the synchs & tie ins were just marvellous.
I spotted another synch via Aferrismoon & dust which he mentioned in his last article & the use of the term 'dustmote'.
Also the water thing - "utilizing water as a "portal or star gate" of sorts. Water being the "universal conduit" - I've wondered about water - twice now I've read (totally contrary to today's 'experts') that we drink too much water - this whole drink 8 glasses of water a day is a fairly new thing & as water is a conductor I've wondered if this could be to increase the effects of technologies on us. Now I really don't know the answer here - but I have wondered how wearlier civilisations have managed without water on tap. One of the sources of info I read re drinking too much water was a 'supposedly' true story of a woman who spent many months with Australian Aborigines in the Outback. I have also read that drinking too much water can wash vitamins/minerals out of the body.
So could lots of water make our bodies into 'stargates' - have absolutely no idea - just do find things that are pushed on to us by the media open to speculation.
Kevin,
Not sure on GM doing JLA, will have to check into that. Glad you liked the post, I will have to check out Arkham Asylum. Be well!
Ed!
Nice synch up with the "green fire", been seeing this a lot lately, so kudos on your take on it and making me think some more! Be well!
Aferris!
That statement kind of synched up with an episode of Futurama too, called Parasites Lost, which JLA had an episode called Paradise Lost--anywho, Fry was taking whacks with a sword on his own brain, a parasite responded "you've done no more harm than a week of binge drinking or 5 minutes on a cell phone", so I saw Grundy taking whacks at it and thought, hmmm.
Be well my friend!
Wise!
Didn't catch the dust synch, thanks for pointing it out. You know, you might be on to something--the effects of technology on the body in that sense. Aren't we already over 90% water? Or is that another Science myth they pushed on us in school? Curiouser and curiouser. A conduit for sure! Be well WW!
Thanks for all the comments folks!
This stuff is really interesting, I need to learn more, it gives me ideas for my stories. However I don't believe the creators of this show are trying to brainwash children, Bruce Timm is known for including hidden references in these cartoons but I doubt there is anything sinister behind this. Even so, I have to give you credit for the time you've put into this.
